The uniform of women
out on a Friday night
hoping for seductive
but failing
is sad, or at the very least
infinitely disappointing
The dress code requires
much to be revealed
little left to the imagination
yet a lack of imagination
is the greater crime
Creativity requires
Dissolving the code
opting for a look
that is immediately sensual
personal to the wearer
Seductive, yet subtle
heads turning
imagination & desire engaged
movement of fabric over skin
brushes quietly against him
as he intuits the form underneath
alert for what he hopes will reveal
a field of curves, a field of dreams
